Yasmeen Qadri, Ed.D.
​
Dr. Yasmeen Qadri is the Professor of Education at Valencia College’s East Campus. She has served in the capacity of department chair, and the advisor of Valencia Future Educators and Muslim Ambassadors for Peace. Dr. Yasmeen earned her Doctorate in Curriculum & Instruction from the University of Central Florida in 1994 and also has a Masters in Social Sciences and a Masters in Child Psychology.
Dr. Yasmeen has presented numerous seminars and workshops at the local, state, national, and international level on topics relating to multicultural education, cross-cultural training, character education, conflict resolution, and teachers training.
Dr. Yasmeen has also been the recipient of the Destinations, Great Teacher, and Endowed Chair awards. She was selected by her college to receive the prestigious National Institute for Staff and Organization Development Excellence Award which was presented to her in May 2014 during the International Conference on Teaching and Leadership in Austin, TX. Dr. Qadri is the 2015-2016 endowed chair recipient of the Dr. P. Phillips Foundation Chair in Education for the Physically Challenged which will enable the Teacher Education Program at Valencia College to focus on advancement in technology, establish pathways to exceptional and early childhood education, form partnerships, develop a course in exceptional education to re-certify teachers, and increase enrollment in the newly established Early Childhood Education Program. Dr. Yasmeen will be traveling to Saudi Arabia to visit and present at the K-12 schools.
Kamran Qadri, Ed.D.

Dr. Kamran Qadri is currently an adjunct and associate faculty member at Valencia College teaching the core foundation courses for the teacher preparation program. He has also worked for Orange County Public schools from 2002-2011 and worked as an administrator at a private school from 2011-2013. Dr. Kamran earned his Doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of Central Florida in 2014 and also has a Masters in Educational Leadership and a Bachelors in Science Education from the University of Central Florida.
Dr. Kamran has teaching and administration certifications from the states of Florida, Georgia, New Jersey (CE), and North Carolina. He has also presented seminars and workshops at the local, state, and national levels. the most recent of which was at the 2016 ISNA Education Forum in Chicago, IL. Dr. Kamran's passion is to help schools think innovatively, bringing out the passion for teaching in teachers, making learning interactive for students, and to focus on strengths based leadership.
Dr. Kamran also has experience in career counseling and the college application process and advises clients in the areas of teacher preparation and certification, medical school applications, residency process, and foreign medical school graduates (USMLE, ECFMG, Residencies).
Nazia Sultana, M.D.

Dr. Nazia Sultana is a graduate of Osmania Medical College in Hyderabad, India. She has worked as a research assistant at the Florida Hospital Cancer Institute from 2008-2009 where her work was published. Following her time at Florida Hospital, Dr. Sultana completed a year of residency in general surgery at University Hospitals-Case Medical Center in Cleveland, OH from 2009-2010 and residency in Internal Medicine at HackensackUMC Mountainside in Montclair, NJ from 2010-2013. At HackensackUMC Mountainside Dr. Sultana received the Intern of the Year Award in 2011 and later served as Chief Resident from 2012-2013.
Following residency, Dr. Sultana started a combined fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC from 2013-2016. Dr. Sultana was chosen for the presitigious Project HOPE/Dr. Charles A. Sanders International Residency Scholarship Program for the 2014-2015 academic year and spent time in Vijayawada, India for one month working with and sharing her expertise at the host institution. Dr. Sultana served as Chief Fellow from 2015-2016. She is currently working as a pulmonoligist and intensivist at the Orlando VA Medical Center at Lake Nona. Dr. Sultana is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Board Eligible in Pulmonology and Critical Care Medicine. She is licensed to practice in Florida and North Carolina.
Dr. Sultana has served on various committees as a resident and fellow. She has experience in the residency application process and advises foreign medical graduates about USMLEs, the ECFMG process, and the residency application process.
Farhan Qadri, M.A.

Mr. Farhan Qadri is an instructional technologist and serves as a member of the Instructional Design and Development team at Rollins College in Winter Park, FL. Mr. Farhan works with faculty to support, guide, and assist them to integrate technology into their classroom. Prior to working at Rollins College, Mr. Farhan worked as the instructional designer for online course development at Embry Riddle Aeuronautical University's World Wide Campus in Daytona Beach, FL. He also has experience working as the course helpdesk manager at the Florida Virtual School and as the technology support representative at both Southwest and Discovery Middle Schools.
Mr. Farhan earned his Masters of Arts in Instructional Technology/Media: Educational Technology from the University of Central Florida in 2012, his Bachelors in Exceptional Education from Barry University in 2008, and an Associates from Valencia College in Computer Information Systems in 2004.
